Transverse flute in F (E-flat)
Side-blown flute made of rosewood, in three sections (head, body and foot), with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has four saltspoon-cup keys mounted with pivots in wooden knobs and foot stock bulge, with flat springs attached to keys. The tenons are wrapped with thread. The embouchure hole is oval, and the fourth and fifth fingerholes are larger. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
