Piccolo in E-flat (D-flat)
This is a side-blown piccolo flute made of cocus wood, in two sections (head and body), with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has four cylinder-cup keys mounted in posts with rods, with flat springs attached to keys. It has a wooden cap with cork stopper, an oval embouchure hole, and larger fifth fingerhole. The tenon joint is wrapped with thread. Nominal pitch: D-flat.
