Transverse flute in F (E-flat)

Side-blown flute made of stained boxwood in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has four saltspoon-cup keys mounted with pivots in protruded knobs, with flat springs attached to keys. The embouchure hole is oval, and the tenons are wrapped in thread. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
