Transverse flute in B-flat (A-flat)
Side-blown flute made of rosewood in two sections (head and body) with nickel-silver ferrules. It has one saltspoon-cup key mounted on lower bulge with pin, with flat springs attached to key. It has a circular embouchure, and larger fourth and fifth fingerholes. The tenon is wrapped in thread. Nominal pitch: A-flat.
