Transverse flute
Side-blown flute made of boxwood in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot), with ivory ferrules and silver keywork. It has seven flat, square-cover keys mounted in blocks and foot stock bulge, with flat spring attached to keys. The low C key shaft is broken. It has an ivory cap and an oval embouchure hole. The middle joint ferrule has old crack repair made with twine. Nominal pitch: C.
