Trompe de chasse
This is a triple-coiled hunting horn that has an unusual wrap configuration in a eight-shaped form. It is entirely made of brass and the tube sections are joined together by either a small ferrule, or by a simple tenon/socket connection. It has one bottom-sprung piston valve with pin guide, cork and black felt bumpers, and additional tubing for a whole tone change. Nominal pitch: D.
