Bugle
This bugle design was introduced by Mr. James Lawson, who was Bandmaster of Royal Artillery Mounted Band between 1856-1886. It is made entirely of brass and has a quick-change rotary valve switch, with a roller ball and a flat spring, that allows to play this instrument as a bugle in C, or a trumpet in E-flat. It has a small brass adaptor at the mouthpiece receiver to connect a separate chromatic valve section, and an extra straight tuning bit. Nominal pitch: C or E-flat.
