It has six modern-style-cup keys mounted in posts with rods, with flat springs attached to keys. The head joint is lined with brass (as is the tenon-socket joint with the barrel) and has an ivory lip-plate in sleeve form. The embouchure hole is circular and the fourth and fifth fingerholes are larger. Tenon of the body joint is wrapped in thread. Nominal pitch: D-flat.
