Transverse flute in F (E-flat)
Side-blown flute made of stained boxwood in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with ivory ferrules. It has one flat, square-cover brass key mounted with pivot on foot stock bulge, and having a flat spring attached to its touch. The embouchure hole is oval. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
