Clarinet in E-flat
Clarinet made of African blackwood in four sections (barrel, upper and lower joints, and bell) with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. It has thirteen cylinder-cup keys, mounted in posts with rods, with flat and needle springs attached to keys and posts, with cork paddings. There is a brille key at the lower joint (two ring-key), a straight throat A-flat key, and the register key wraps around the body. There is a red hue on the surface of the instrument that might be associated with polish compound (red rouge probably), and there is an old wax repair/reconstruction of the lower joint socket, which means this instrument was clearly restored. Nominal pitch: E-flat.
