Harp Lute by Edward Light, c.1816. Marked 'Light, Foley Place, London painted black with gold decoration'. Un-numbered, clock key tuning, gilt rose in the form of a swag of musical instruments with latin motto. Either bought 'from G. Macdonald, 88 High Stret, St Johns Wood, London, 24th September 1932, Harp Lute "2.10s' or 'from Reg Andrade, Plympton, Devon 24th November 1939' (M. Jessup).
