Bowed zither made in Germany, c.1880. Heart shaped. Labelled 'Keith Prowse and Co. 44 Cheapside. London'. 'Bowed zither, heart shaped, anonymous, German but sold in England and is labelled Keith Prowse and Co., 44 Cheapside, London, late 19th century.' Previously also associated with inventory numbers SNO.MC.130 and SNO.MC.4537.
