Cavaquinho. Rosewood back, sides, neck and fingerboard. Inked simulated stringing round the outline of the sound table. The soundhole is encircled by a ring of small rectangles of contrasting black, brown and pale woods. The lower two strings are of overwound wire, the upper two strings of plain wire. 19 metal frets.
