Valve trumpet
Valve trumpet. Brass. Three Périnet straight through valves. Compact design, short but with the lower yard positioned well below the valves. Mouthpipe is short and curved twice, allowing it to connect directly to the first valve. Lower yard has a small additional loop in the tubing towards the front of the instrument. Bell has a large tab-seamed gusset. Bell stem has a little finger hook adjacent to valves and a socket for a music card holder, both on the top surface. With a shank and a silver-plated mouthpiece, neither of which are original. The mouthpiece is stamped: Lew Davis autograph "super cushion-rim". Engraved on bell: J.
