Bass ophicleide in B flat. Brass body and keys. Eleven keys with circular, domed flaps and leather pads. Looped and swan necked crook with tuning slide fitting to body secured by butterfly screw on receiver. Bell stamped: GA. Letters appear within an oval outline with an anchor at the centre.
