Cornet. Brass. Three straight-through Périnet valves, top-sprung. Bracket for a music card holder on third valve loop. Second valve touch probably not original. Crooks/shanks missing. Stamped on bell: DISTIN/LONDON/No 1045/HENRY DISTIN/MAKER/31 CRANBOURN St/LEICESTER SQUARE/LONDON/CLs1; The numbers 28, 29 and 30 appear on the caps and casings of valves 1, 2, 3 respectively.
