Frame drum; tamborim
Tamborim, single membrane frame drum made by Artcelsior, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, circa 2010. The aluminium frame has six lug and nut tuners. The plastic head bears the maker's name 'CONTEMPORÂNEA' in blue and 'MONOBLOCO/RIO DE JANEIRO - BRASIL' encircles the logo of the band Monobloco. The drum is played with a single stick.
