Horn
War horn, end-blown horn. A curved bovine horn. The tip has been removed and the narrow end shaped to form a mouthpiece. The mouthpiece has a wide, round rim and there is another raised ring of approximately equal diameter beneath. Most of the surface of the instrument is brown, but patches of an earlier black coating suggest this was its original colour.
