Natural trumpet
Fanfare trumpet. Once coiled and with straight yards. Leadpipe and bell stem are parallel but not adjacent. A rectangular block covered in orange fabric connects them near the proximal end. Long ferrules with double grooves at each end connect each yard to each bow. A ringlet is positioned laterally inside the front bow. A small boss with a triangular profile on bell stem. The inner edge of the bell garland is embossed with a ring of scallop shells and has the engraved inscription beneath: Franz Mazogatto, Waldhorn und Trompeten Macher in Wien 1816; With a badly worn silk banner.
