A patent grand square piano, compass: five octaves chromatic FF-f3, single action, under dampers and double-strung throughout. Tuning pins at the front. On an apron stand with four square tapered legs. Hinged integral, silk-backed dust-cover which can be raised with the lid. Integral music desk hinged to the dust cover. Inscribed on the fascia over the keys: By his Majesty's Letters Royal Patent/ GRAND SQUARE PIANO FORTES/ Georgius Garcka Londini Fecit/ Corner of Edward Street Wardour Street/ Anno Dom/ 1793. Stamped on the interior with serial number 16.
