Baritone
Baritone in B flat. Brass with silver plating. Three non-compensating Périnet valves facing forwards and slightly upwards. Water key on tuning slide positioned on closest bow to mouthpiece. First and second valve loop tuning slides have a ring grip on outer edge of branch. The first valve loop has a thumb ring attached to front. Third valve loop has tuning slides on branches facing both upwards and downwards and also has a music holder socket on front. Bow guards attached to outside of bell branch and upper outer bow. The detachable forward-facing bell is secured by two bolts on opposite sides of the stem socket. The bell is made in two parts: angled neck and flare. Inscribed on the bell: The/Regent/MADE BY/OHIO BAND/INSTRUMENT Co/CLEVELAND/OH; within a crowned shield flanked by medals. Rim on the bell section above the connection to the body is stamped: 18; Valve casings are stamped: 1; 2; 3; respectively. Second valve also stamped with serial number: 22778; The mouthpiece stamped: ALL STAR BARITONE
