Resting bell; kin
Kin, resting bell. The bell is a large bronze bowl, hemispherical at the base with a straight edge at the upper rim. This smooth surface is engraved with Japanese characters, and is edged with two grooves around its circumference. Below the rim, the bell is encircled with concentric rings of studs, beaten out of its surface.
