Zheng with Cloud Pattern (Bronze zhong)
Well preserved. Dark brown colour on the surface. The body of the bell is slim and long with a near-round cross-section. The mouth (yu) is slightly curved. The body is quite thick and heavy. The handle (yong) is solid in the middle and is smaller at the top and larger at the bottom. There is a small round hole near the underside (wu). The handle is decorated with geometrical patterns and the underside is decorated with fine cloud patterns. The body of the bell has a plain design.
