Violin bow
This violin bow was possibly made by John Fisher Maghie of Dalston, Cumberland, the same maker who almost certainly made the related violin (1972.63.1). The stick of the bow is made of dark wood and the frog possibly of ebony (?). The hair of the bow were usually made of horsehair, therefore this bow hair might have been made of the same material.
