bell

Egg-shaped bell: with the edge of the cup now badly out of shape. The ring of the handle is broken at the top and thickens to a pair of shoulders at the bottom. Though a hole at the top of the bell, in front of the handle, passes a split-pin, to which the metal tongue is attached. The instrument produces a clear, bright sound. The handle has been cast separately.
