Drum; carved of wood; hollow cylinder at bottom for support; tapering out to large bowl on top; bottom half of sides carved with vertical lines, with undercarved band across vertical lines; seven holes evenly spaced around sides; skin stretched over top of drum, and held in place with skin thongs threaded through holes in skin and tied around wooden pegs inserted in holes in drum.
