Cretan lyra, a bowed intrument from the fiddle group with three strings (strings missing), carved wood, a pear-shaped angular body with two D-shaped holes, circular peghead and scroll terminal. Two separate pegs survive. The back with intricate incised decoration of an anchor incorprating a tree of life.
