Bagpipes ('gaida' or 'gajda'), the bag made of animal skin, knotted inside to seal it, with three turned and carved wood pipes all with incised horizontal rings and all with cylindrical sections of horn over the wood base: the blowpipe (a short pipe consisting of mouthpiece only) slotted into wood ring attached to bag, horn section at base; the chanter (the pipe that plays the melody) has ram's horn fitting attached to bag with string instead of wood ring, six holes, sections of black horn at each end, single hole at back at end nearest bag is pierced through at front; the drone formed of a long pipe with no holes in three pieces (the two outer sections are 317b) with horn sections and wood attachment ring,. Green cotton wound round pipes to tighten where they slot into fittings.
