Bugle

A silver bugle with a chain, engraved RMA. It has been hallmarked for London 1901-2 and been stamped with the maker's mark MW. The bugle is in the shape of a Light Infantry horn. There is a floral design engraved around the horn. It was presented to E.D. Carden in 1901 when as a cadet at the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, for the high jump. Presented in a padded case with dark red padding and light red lining with maker's name in gold on the inside lid. The case is black hardened leather with gold lines around the edges.
