Harmonium

A small portable harmonium by Yamaha, wooden body, legs and lid, fabric bellows, metal rods, ivory horn and key covers. Body decorated with inlay work and top has 'battle honours' written in white paint flanking RE cap badge, GRV cypher. Above keys is maker's name bearing medal (for industrial achievement?) 1904. Inscriptions include 'The Great European War, Ypres Popperinghe ... 1914-16', RE Cypher, Inside left; 'Yamaha Organ', Inside right; Chinese symbols.
