plain sycamore; stick: cut octagonally for ca. one third of its length, while the rest is round, with concave curve; head of 'horse's nose' type, faced in ebony; varnished very pale yellow, almost clear; without lapping; frog: plain ebony, without eye, open, without slide or ferrule; its heel slopes towards a curved corner; adjuster: ebony, cylindrical with rounded end and one groove round it; screw: iron; eye: brass; length 693, hair 527, diameter at frog 15.0, diameter at head 12.0, weight 146.4 gr.
