Technical description: The round, concave, ironwood (?) stick has thread winding held in place by cloth tape and ends in a rounded battle-axe head with a rectangular head mortise and ivory headface with a headface lining of dark wood. The open, screw mechanism, ivory frog has an ornately carved heel shape.
