Barrel slightly waisted (Cf. those of Thomas Key), with brass liner and tuning slide.Upper section's tenon and top 30mm of bore brass, to fit tuning slide of barrel; speaker liner projects almost to centre of bore.Lower section: touches of E?/B??; F??/C?? keys for L4 in Wood's Patent arrangement (1819).
