Pop gun.
Technical description: Black painted wooden tube, outside diameter 28, with longitudinal slot length 95 milled into it and a flange turned where a string to the cork would have been tied. Plunger rod with wooden curved handle. Cork piston head with metal insert to connect onto plunger rod. Repair History: There is evidence of nails either side of the longitudinal slot which may indicate that an attached handle has been removed (or become detached and lost).
