Tenor trombone. Nominal pitch: C.
Technical description: Silver-plated brass. With alternative main slide section having additional tuning-slide at bottom of main slide. Additional tuning-slide: length of each inner leg 119 allowing increase in air column length of nearly 238mm. The main slide without the additional tuning-slide appears to have been designed for and used for some time with a handle which is now missing. The inner slides are copper-plated.
