Technical description: Brass. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves. Repair History: Legs of main tuning-slide lengthened to lower from Old Philharmonic pitch. Restored by the students of Musical Instrument Technology, Stevenson College, Edinburgh, 1986-7, valve touchpieces replaced.
