Bass trombone. Nominal pitch: G/F.
Technical description: Brass; plated stockings. Usual British G bass trombone, but with tuning at joint with ligature fixing; no tuning-slide. Single coil crook (wreath) for insertion at joint between slide and bell sections for putting instrument into F. Black wooden handle, ridged grip.
