Technical description: Stained boxwood, 4 sections; brass key; 3 narrow brass ferrules; wooden cap; oval embouchure-hole. Keymount type: ring. Keyhead type: flat square, chamfered. Repair History: The ferrules, attached by pins, appear to be a later addition to restrict or inhibit cracking.
