9-inch tambourine.
Technical description: Lapped wooden shell reinforced with three metal bridging pieces. Vellum head nailed on with dome-headed brass tacks with steel pins. With single row of 12 nickel-plated ferrous metal jingles attached by wire. Repair History: One jingle is a chromium-plated replacement.
