Technical description: Brass, imitation gilt or lacquered finish. Inner slides chrome plated, with stockings. Bell flare cross-section octagonal from c40mm from bell end to the main tuning-slide. Water-key with cable for actuation from playing position. Telescopic stay on inner slides. Slide lock. Screwed bell lock at joint. Valve type: Rotary valve with thong for thumb actuation. Repair History: Water-key push replaced, dents in bell ameliorated, 1998.
