Uganda drum.
Technical description: Cylindro-conical kettledrum; single wooden shell, maximum diameter 200 below top; highly tensioned head laced to large anchoring skin wrapped over base, closing the bottom;pieces of gravel or wood 'soul of the drum' inside; strap. Head 'diameter' 495. Repair History: Lacing torn from skin head and repaired by nailing the head with 3 nails.
