Technical description: Red varnished cocus wood with german silver crook, ferrules, keywork, and bell. Five pieces: original named cocus mouthpiece, crook, upper section. lower section, bell. Mouthpiece marked for a ligature. Device for a music card holder on crook. Key for closing the thumb-hole end-pivoted from below. Two speaker keys, the one on top of the upper section has a chimney and is used to overblow. The other one covers a tone-hole below and is used for throat B♭ with the the throat Akey depressed. All tone-holes covered. Tone-hole for R1 through tenon of upper section. Three RH thumb levers for a chromatic extension. Thumb rest with sling ring. 18keys, 7covered tone-holes.
