Technical description: Boxwood with horn ferrules and brass keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. No speaker liner; keys mounted in blocks apart from G♯₃/E♭₅ and F₃/C₅ which are mounted in pillars; leaf springs and needle springs; horn thumb rest, continental, discontinuous not original bell with a wide wooden rim; 13keys; pads glued with red sealing wax.
