Clarinet. Nominal pitch: B♭.
Technical description: Blackwood with ivory ferrules and german silver keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Mouthpiece unsigned, but probably original, grooved for cord. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a bell-shaped swelling. Two tiny german silver rollers on L4 levers. No F₄/C₆key. Cross key for E♭₄/B♭₅ missing. Additional R1 touchpiece for C♯₄/G♯₅ as a special feature. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throat A♮; throat A♭. L2: T. L3: T; (cross E♭₄/B♭₅ missing). L4: C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅. R1: T; side E♭₄/B♭₅; side trill key for throat A-B♮ and B♭-C; alternative touchpiece for C♯₄/G♯₅. R2: T. R3: T; B♭₃/F♮₅; side B♮₃/F♯₅. R4: T; G♯₃/E♭₅. Keymount type: wooden blocks; swelling. Keyhead type: flat round.
