Technical description: Silver plate; 2sections (head and body); rounded square embouchure-hole; crutches for L1 and R0; edge of cap decorated; foot descends to C, modern-style flute foot keytouch arrangement, but with lowC/C♯ touches overlapping lowC♯ hole-cover. Boehm 1847 system fingering, but with ring keys for L2, R1, R2 and R3, plus BrB-flat and closedG♯. L0: B(TT); BrB♭. L1: PL-C. L2: Aring. L3: G. L4: G♯. R0:, R1: Fring; Dtrill. R2: Ering (linked to G♯ tonehole cover to create 'splitE'); D♯trill. R3: Dring. R4: D♯; lowC♯; lowC roller. Keymount type: rod/pillar, with needle springs. Keyhead type: shallow cup, with ring keys over raised toneholes for L2, R1, R2 and R3.
