Sharing original ebonite mouthpiece, marked for a ligature, with (5251). Body banded at top of body as a precaution. Zig-zag speaker with chimney on left side of the instrument. German silver tube in thumb-hole. All tone-holes under rings lined with ebonite. Articulated C♯₄/G♯₅ opened with L4, closed with R1. In contrast to (5251), has additional L4 G♯₃/E♭₅ lever. Csharp mechanism. 15keys, 6rings, 4black rollers. L0: T; speaker. L1: T + ring + vent; throat A♮; throat A♭. L2: T + ring + vent. L3: T + ring; E♭₄/B♭₅. L4: C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅; G♯₃/E♭₅.
