Technical description: Set of mouth-blown reel-pipes in rosewood with bone button mounts and ivory tops, with stamped chanter in cocus and ivory with cane reeds.Chanter: Seven finger-holes and one thumb-hole. Lapped tenon with bulb. Ivory sole and ferrule on stock. Small chips out of the wood on the bulb. The finger-holes have been enlarged and undercut for tuning. Cane reed. Bone mount on stock.Blowpipe/mouthpiece: Rosewood blowpipe with black plastic mouthpiece. Horn mount on stock. Mouthpiece has small indentations from teeth marks.Drone set-up: three individual drone stocks, two of rosewood with bone mounts and one of ebony with ivory mount.Drones: Bass drone with three sections and tenors with two sections. Bone mounts and ivory tops. Cane drone reeds. Bass drone mount on second section has two large cracks that have been repairedBag: modern replacement.Bag cover/cord: green and red tartan wool bag cover with red and green fringe; matching wool cord with two tassels.Measurements: chanter length 352, conical bore beginning at 4.2. and ending at 19.5; bass drone length c584, bore at top 12; tenor drones length c285, bore at top 11.0. Repair History: The drone stock of ebony with an ivory mount is a replacement. The mouthpiece is a replacement. One button mount is a replacement in horn.
