Clarinet

Stained boxwood, in four joints, with ebony mouthpiece and three original ivory mounts. Barrel and mouthpiece and modern reconstructions (1993) for display purposes. Middle joint of a lighter colour and with different stamp, suggesting that it may be a later replacement. Eight circular brass keys, mounted on wooden saddles, six original, two reconstruction (1993) for display purposes. Pitch of the instrument: B flat.
