Technical description: laburnum; 2 sections; brass key; 3 brass ferrules; no cap; large, irregular oval embouchure-hole.; Nominal pitch: A♭.; Type or system: 1 key.; Keyhead type: flat round.; Keymount type: ring.; Usable pitch: sounding A₄ c|458|Hz.; Performance characteristics: range D₄|-|G₆ (sounding B♭₄|-|E♭₇); speaks with difficulty below F₄ (sounding D♭₅) in present condition, but otherwise plays very loudly.
