Cor sauterelle.

Technical description: Brass, no gusset in bell mouth, circumferential seam in bell at angle to cross-section; with garland. Section lengths: from plain section or sauterelle socket distal to ferrule mid 540; from ferrule mid to circumferential seam 665; from circumferential seam to bell end 292.With two alternative sections to be inserted between body and tuning-slide: one a plain section of two tubes with two stays, the other a cluster of three long top-cap valves. Type or system: Combination hand horn and 3-valve french horn. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung with alignment by key on piston.
